John serves as Founder of Center for Serving Leadership, which provides leadership solutions based on the concepts presented in John’s book, The Serving Leader: Five Powerful Actions to Transform Your Team, Business, and Community. Through innovative training, collaborative workshops, keynote presentations, and best-selling books, John has impacted leaders and organizations around the world.
John lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he founded the Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience, Leadership Foundations Training Institute, The Union Project, and Amachi Pittsburgh. He has served as President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, President of Newton Institute, and in adjunct faculty positions.
