About Stanley Long
Stanley has coached, trained and spoken at educational institutions, non-profit organizations and businesses. He has challenged thousands to grow into their potential as he addressed audiences in Africa, the Caribbean Islands, and across the United States. Listeners consistently report that Stan engages them with a genuine passion for what they could be.
Stan earned his bachelor’s degree from Nyack College and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also holds a second MA degree from Fuller Seminary and an Honorary Doctorate from Nyack College for his work in bridging the racial gap. He currently resides in Northern California with his wife Ruby. They have three children and five grandsons. When Stan is not working, he likes to travel, play on his computer or analyze movie mysteries.

Sydney Barcus, Ph.D is a recognized expert in organizational transformation with a doctorate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. As an executive in various Fortune 500 companies, she facilitated strategic and sustainable change initiatives in manufacturing, healthcare, retail and hospitality. Her unique ability to drive results comes from channeling her data science prowess through her serving heart.
Dr. Barcus’s unbridled enthusiasm for helping individuals and organizations thrive through change and realize their goals generates consistent demand for her work. Her consulting clients describe her as a trusted advisor, challenging and empowering them to realize quantifiable impact. She provides executive coaching and mentoring to graduate students and esteemed professionals.

Dr. B, as she is affectionately known, is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan and now makes her home near Dallas, Texas. She is a devoted fan to her musician husband, Jimmy Barcus, and daughter Sophia. She is a self-proclaimed “info junkie”, an avid reader and enjoys weaving, letterboxing, hiking and puzzle solving.

About Kimberly Tice
Kimberly has 40 years of experience as an early childhood educator, program director and executive leader in for-profit, non-profit, family childcare, Early Head Start/Head Start, faith-based and public sectors. Kimberly has been the Executive Director for Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children (AEYC) for almost 20 years.
In 2016, Kim began working closely with leadership expert, Dr. John Stahl-Wert to build her own leadership understanding and skills. This learning experience convinced her of the need to share the message of Serving Leadership in the early childhood community to position ECE (Early Childhood Educators) professionals to act on behalf of themselves; and the young children and the families they serve. Kim completed training to become a certified facilitator of the Serving Leader Model.
In 2017, she established the National Early Childhood Leadership Center and collaborates with the Center for Serving Leadership to provide leadership development, coaching and consulting to the early childhood field.
Kimberly is married to her husband Larry who is retired, and the proud mom of her daughter Ashley who works as an Audiologist at the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. Her dogs Cooper, a Labrador Retriever and Molly an Australian Shepherd keep her busy and bring her joy with their unconditional love and loyalty.

About Jay Schindler
Jay serves as the president and CEO of Miami Valley Leadership Foundation, which is part of the Leadership Foundations global network. Schindler works with a passionate team of dedicated men and women who are investing in the next generation of leaders. He is the founder of G2 Potential LLC, an executive and leadership coaching firm. Jay serves as an executive coach and works with clients in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, as well as remotely. He is the former owner and CEO of Eskco Corporation. Schindler is a former senior consultant for Oliver Group and Leadership Pipeline Institute. Services included leadership development, assessment tools, and executive coaching.
Schindler is also a former market development executive with Teradata Corporation, a global leader in analytic data platforms, EDW cloud services, marketing and analytic applications, and related ‘Big Data’ consulting services. He led global account management and market development across the industrial manufacturing Midwest, including Whirlpool, Cummins, Goodyear, and GE. Jay Schindler says, “When I first heard John present his leadership materials, I knew it was a good philosophical fit. I wanted to partner with the Center for Serving Leadership.”
Schindler earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Taylor University, and his Master’s in Business from Florida Metropolitan University. He earned his CPC credential from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC). He lives with his wife in Dayton, Ohio and enjoys his family of five children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he partners with international workers to teach successful business principles in developing countries and enjoys sailboat racing and coastal cruising.

About Tad Douce
Tad Douce has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator since beginning his career in 1996. He started his career as a middle school pre-engineering instructor in central Ohio and has authored numerous books, tutorials, and curriculum packages in robotics, STEM, manufacturing, and making. He is currently Executive Director for the 501c3 organization, EduEverything, Inc., where he oversees operations for the National Robotics Challenge and the Drones in School STEM program. His great purpose is to help people find their passions and unleash their full potential.
Tad was introduced to John Stahl-Wert in 2016 when he began his Serving Leader journey with a leadership cohort in Marion, Ohio. Since then, he has introduced Serving Leadership to many schools and organizations in the Midwest. He spends his free time building or tinkering with new gadgets, traveling with his family, or exploring the open road by motorcycle with his wife, Lori. About Toni Kellar
Toni Kellar, ACC, is a transformational educator, group facilitator, and self-leadership coach with a gift for helping people and organizations move from breakdowns to breakthroughs.
Toni holds her coaching accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is also a Newfield Certified Coach (NCC). She specializes in ontological coaching for personal and professional development, and also serves as an organizational consultant.
Toni is the founder of Newsight Life, LLC, facilitating conversations and experiences that help clients discover and shift into new ways of being, working, and living. Her vision is for people, and the systems in which they live, to flourish, and sees serving leadership as an integral part in bringing this vision to life.
Toni served as the Director of Programs & Curriculum for the Center for Serving Leadership / Newton Institute in 2016-2017, working alongside Dr. John Stahl-Wert to help transform the in-person Serving Leader Model cohort experience into today’s online training program that has enabled CSL to serve a growing global audience. Toni’s background includes service in corporate and public communications, leadership development, strategic planning, program and curriculum design, marketing, community development, journalism, and conscious entrepreneurship. She’s also a professional drum circle facilitator trained in evidence-based protocols using rhythm as a tool for team building, social/emotional development, and personal wellness.
Toni is a graduate of Ohio University’s College of Communication, and enjoys living in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeast Ohio with her husband of 34 years. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, photography, playing drums and percussion, and continuous lifelong learning.

About R. Ian Davis
Ian is a holder of the Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS) designation and is a citizen of Canada, Ireland and the United States. He brings an international flavor to the science and art of Serving Leadership.
He hails from one of the world’s premier business schools, Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario, where his undergraduate degree in Commerce has a concentration in Human Resources & Finance, and his graduate studies are in Employment & Labor Law, Collective Bargaining and Labor Relations.
Ian has spent his business career leading the people functions of Fortune 200 & 500 companies to awaken, equip and align their organizations’ cultures to achieve their Great Purpose. He holds a state and national championship in public speaking, and has coached scores of young people to their own national-level success.
His gifts are strong in the area of teaching, facilitating and executive coaching, and he has keynoted and lectured at educational institutions around the world, focusing on human capital strategy and serving leadership.
Ian has partnered with the Center for Serving Leadership for over a decade for three reasons: the work is based upon decades of first-hand research, it is rooted in certain transcendent truths, and it is eminently practical and actionable. In other words: it works.

About Wesley Miller
Wes has been involved with Pastoral Leadership in various capacities for 17 years and also has experience as a business owner. He’s currently serving as a Leadership Coach at Toward the Goal Ministries in Sugarcreek, Ohio for the past three and a half years.
Equipping and encouraging leaders is Wes’s passion and purpose. He enjoys learning alongside others, as well as helping others discover passions and gifts that God has instilled in them. He believes everyone has a story and helping others align their story with God’s story is a blessing in which he enjoys being a part.
Wes says, “One of the reasons I have been drawn to the Center for Serving Leadership is the intentional approach to encouraging and equipping leaders. This is my “Why” in life. Multiplication is the model needed for sustained growth. I enjoy learning with others and growing with a team of like-minded individuals that can sharpen each other.”

About Jeri Muoio
Jeri Muoio, Ph.D. is President and CEO of Great Cities for All, a business focused on building great work cultures, developing leaders within both public and private sector organizations, leadership coaching, and training. She has studied, practiced and taught the importance of leadership and is an experienced presenter and facilitator.
Dr. Muoio is the former Mayor/CEO of The City of West Palm Beach, Florida. During her tenure as Mayor, Muoio focused on making West Palm Beach a great place for employees to work, a great place for people to live, and a great place for businesses to thrive. Believing that employees who are proud of where they work, better serve the community, Muoio worked to build a work culture based on trust through a partnership with the Great Place to Work Organization.
Jeri first became involved with Serving Leadership when she participated in a cohort training with John Stahl-Wert. She then trained as a Serving Leader Facilitator and participated in the Master Executive Cohort. Her experience with the Serving Leader Cohort guided her practice as the leader of a large organization.
Prior to moving to Florida, Dr. Muoio served as Assistant Superintendent in both the Chappaqua, New York School District and the Fayetteville-Manlius, New York School District. Dr. Muoio lives in West Palm Beach with her husband Charles and cherishes the time she spends with her daughter and son-in-law and three grandchildren.

About Felicia Ang
Felicia brings over 30 years of leadership, business, and organizational acumen to her service as a consultant, coach, and trainer. She has grown organizations in manufacturing, retailing, service and the faith-based sectors internationally, where her specialties are in the praxis and implementation of vision, mission, and value alignment. The combination of harnessing leadership with team development towards implementing outstanding organizational performance and her contribution as a Peter Drucker Educator enabled her to become a personal coach to founders of start-ups and CEOs of small medium enterprises (SMEs), NGOs, and faith-based organizations.
Felicia met Dr. John Stahl-Wert while pursuing her MBA in Hong Kong. Under John’s tutorship, Felicia learned about the Serving Leadership model and since then, has incorporated its principles to both her vocational and academic endeavors.
Felicia completed her Doctorate of Transformational Leadership (DTL) with BGU. The thrust of her dissertation is in “Developing a Transformational Leadership Model for the Malaysian Marketplace Ministry for Human Flourishing and Cultural Impact” which led to the founding of Praxis Institute for Transformational Leadership. Its purpose is to raise and develop transformational leaders with a heart to serve; who champion human flourishing and who impact communities through socio-economic transformation.
Felicia is married to Derek Ho, a native from Hong Kong for 26 years. They now reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where the warmth of the country, the hospitality of Malaysians and the vast array of delicious local cuisine brings joy, smiles and gratitude to this peace-loving couple. About Rick Griest
Rick worked in retail management for 10 years before starting a career with Honda of America Manufacturing. He retired after 30 years of service. At Honda, Rick held various roles including: working the assembly line, and several Staff support groups (Safety, Quality, Equipment, Efficiency), and in Training and Development; at the Department, Plant, and Corporate Levels. Rick’s focus was on being a serving leader and an effective follower.
Rick completed his MBA at Franklin University in Organizational Leadership and is certified as a Registered Corporate Coach through Worldwide Associate of Business Coaches (WABC).
Rick is passionate about discipleship and serving at Rosedale Bible College where he is currently the Director of Business & Leadership. He is involved in the development of curriculum, teaching, and networking with CMC businesses and churches. He is also participating in Ohio Mennonite Conference’s Missional Discipleship Initiative.
Rick joined the BOOST Leadership Cohort, designed for Mennonite business leaders by The Center for Serving Leadership (CSL). His experience with CSL has reignited his passion to come along side others to help them clarify who they are, and encourage them to take action. The crafting of the 5 Actions’ strategic structure with the personal story of Mike Wilson in The Serving Leader, along with the training done in a cohort, created a catalyst for developing real and authentic relationships with one another and more importantly, with himself.
Rick and Candy Yoder Griest have been married for 30 years and have two daughters, Kodie and Kaylee who are in college. Rick’s hobbies are reading and working out.

About Merle Weaver
Merle has been developing and leading businesses and organizations over 25 years. The first decade and a half was a lot of “trial by fire” and learning the hard way. The last decade he has focused increasingly on intentionally developing himself as a serving leader. He has a passion to see business, organizational, and community leaders raised up to further the Kingdom of Christ. As part of his efforts to this end Merle studied Dr. Stahl-Wert’s books finally meeting him in the spring of 2020. He has since gone on to incorporate many of the concepts in his organizations, personal life, and the development of other leaders. Merle envisions the next decades of his life increasingly focused on developing serving leaders and resonates with the Great Purpose of the Center for Serving Leadership “a flourishing world in which serving is the trademark of leadership.”
Merle lives in picturesque Lancaster County Pennsylvania, often known as “Amish & Mennonite Country”, with his wife Beth. After their respective spiritual pursuits and marriage, together they focus on their number 1 “business” namely raising and teaching leadership to their twelve children.
After leading several non-profit organizations as well as several businesses, in his “remaining time” Merle enjoys volunteering with Public Safety as a fire department engine driver, and Fire Police Captain, as well as amateur radio and volunteering with his local search and rescue team. About Ron Embleton
Ron Embleton has a wide variety of experience both nationally and internationally in sales and marketing, personal business development, teaching, and leadership team development. His passion is connecting, creating, visioning and training others in order that they may serve with excellence in the area of their personal interests, gifting and talents.
Ron resides in Northeast Ohio. Ron and his wife have 5 adult children, four and soon to be five grandchildren.
Prior to moving to Ohio, Ron worked for SPS International, a design and engineering firm in the commercial greenhouse industry. For SPS, Ron established a branch company in the Middle East, introduced and marketed patented design, materials, and technology to that region. Currently, Ron serves as a local pastor, mentoring other pastors, leadership teams and church planters throughout the region.
Ron has an associate degree in Evangelism and Church Planting, a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature, a TEFL certification and a master’s degree in Leadership from Evangelical Theological Seminary.
Ron met John Stahl-Wert in early 2019 and was impressed with his passion for the Church and his expertise in developing Serving Leaders both in the Church and in the Corporate World. Their friendship led to an invitation to take the Serving Leader course and to train and become a Certified Training Partner. About Ted Kerr
Ted Kerr is the Founder/CEO of Touchstone Capital, Inc., which began operations on May 1, 2000. The company is a Registered Investment Adviser and has over $160 million in assets under management for 300 client households in 24 states and one foreign country. With 27 years of experience, various conference engagements, and countless media appearances, Ted is a recognized thought leader and industry expert.
Ted is also the Founder/President of Touchstone Cares, an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 organization, which began operations in 2018. Touchstone Cares has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to local, national, and international charities, including Transformada Vidas (Transformed Lives), a community project in Northeast Brazil. Ted speaks Portuguese and is engaged to be married to Maria Patricia Dos Reis, a Brazilian psychologist and President of Transformada Vidas.

About Dr. Andrea Hazim
For over two decades, Dr. Andrea has been equipping and inspiring others as a transformational speaker, author, trainer, and educator.
Andrea has vast experience in the field of personal development and a deep concern for society’s “common culture” and social-emotional demise! Both have led to her launching the Elev8Life educational foundation, writing transformational curricula and facilitating experiential leadership intensives.

About Dr. Jeff Hazim
With a diverse background in health care and in ministry, Dr. Jeff Hazim is a dedicated Christian, husband and father. Dr. Jeff and his wife Dr. Andrea are blessed to shepherd their three dynamic sons—Isaiah, Cyrus, and Shiloh. They stand for family values and a biblical influence on culture. He is an author, speaker, chiropractor, nutritionist, corporate health and biblical leadership consultant, holistic life coach, and pastor. He teaches the Bible to and disciples young adults. He works with engaged and married couples, to help develop or restore their relationships. Dr. Jeff lives by and would die for his core values: Virtue, Integrity, Justice, Innovation, and Influence.

About Todd Johns
Todd Johns is the Founder and CEO of Revive Ministries, Inc. in Nicholasville Kentucky. Revive Life House is one of the key pillars of a Four-fold vision of Revive that focuses on helping those struggling with addiction. The Life House is a long-term treatment model, through 3 phases that helps to awaken lives through compassionate connections.
Todd is a graduate of Valley Forge University with his BA in Pastoral Min / Theology.
Todd’s vocational life has carried him across the spectrum of business and various church ministries. He spent 6 years working within the US and Global supply chain for Whirlpool Corporation, in various analyst, logistics and planning roles. He is a builder of people and systems. He loves to help start and create new endeavors while looking to help equip and release others into their great purpose in life. About Ruth Hatchuel
Ruth Hatchuel, RN MSN, CNOR-e, RNFA.
Veteran Experience Program Manager
Ms. Ruth Hatchuel currently holds the position of Veteran Experience Program Manager, Employee and Patient Experience Service at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System.
Ms. Hatchuel is a Masters-prepared Registered Nurse. She is certified as a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse and holds a Certificate as a Registered Nurse First Assistant through the Association of Peri-Operative Nurses. Ruth has over 45 years of nursing experience which includes Medical, Surgical, Emergency Department, Maternity, Endoscopy, Perioperative Nursing, Nursing Informatics, Electronic Health Record System development, Nursing Education, Sterile Processing, and currently Employee and Patient Experience.
She is responsible for all aspects of Patient Experience, such as developing and presenting programs that support efforts to improve the overall patient experience, as well as employee experience. She is responsible for data review, analysis, report writing, and conflict resolution related to different Patient Experience surveys completed by our Veterans.
Ms. Hatchuel has presented patient experience programs such as VA Voices, I-CARE, Team Building, Report Writing, Relationship Based care, Unit Practice Council / Shared Governance programs, and recently certified as a Trainer through and for the Center for Serving Leadership at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System.

About Qianna Tidmore
Qianna Tidmore is the Co-Executive Director of the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children. She has worked in early childhood administration for over 16 years. She is passionate about early childhood advocacy on the local, state, and national level, empowering early childhood educators through leadership training, and ensuring equity in access to education and services for children and families. Qianna holds a M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a PreK-3 Ohio teaching license and earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron.
Qianna embeds the principles of being a Serving Leader as a PTA and Jack and Jill Erie Shores Chapter Executive Board member, as a member of several boards and advisory groups/councils, and as a Chaplin for the Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
In May 2015, her husband, Rev. Jason L. Tidmore, Sr. was called to pastor Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church. She serves and leads the Women’s Department at GPMBC and the Grief Ministry, and teaches the youth. Qianna is the proud wife of Rev. Jason Tidmore, Sr., mother of three beautiful daughters: Brianna, Jasmine and Olivia, and one son: Jason, Jr. Qianna’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

About Lisa Bennett
Lisa has over 30 years of experience as an executive leader, program director and coach in the non-profit, government and faith-based sectors. She has extensive experience in crisis and disaster management as well as leadership development and training of individuals and teams. Lisa is a Gallup certified Strengths Coach with over 10 years coaching experience. She earned her MBA in Strategic Leadership in 2001.
Lisa is passionate about great leadership as well as helping people achieve their best. Always a student of the finest leadership practices, Lisa found her way to the Center for Serving Leadership through reading The Serving Leader book in 2020. Understanding how the principles would improve her leadership skills, as well as create a synergy with her strengths coaching, she began working with Dr. John Stahl-Wert. Lisa became a certified facilitator of the Serving Leader Model in 2022.
Lisa is proud to be the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of three grandchildren. Lisa is also currently serving on the leadership team at her church. She spends most of her leisure time in joyful play with her grandchildren and when not doing that, you can find her reading or spending time with friends.
